The Jug
This sleek looking watering jug with Flower Sprinkler has the perfect look especially when laminated with green light from the base. It is attached to a 33-Inch Shower Wand (made from aluminum). However PVC pipe with a 45 degree elbow may be substituted for the Shower Wand.
The Pot
The other end of the Garden Hose wand is attached to a sturdy flower pot using PVC adapters through a hole in the bottom of the pot. Real or silk plants may be used in the planter.

The simulated water flow of the light strips is
The Controller
controlled by a Wemos D1 Mini but any Micro controller with enough output pins will work. There are 18 LEDs on each of the 8 (24″) light strips connected to 8 inputs on a controller. the FastLed library was used to create the firmware for the controller.
The Beads
In the day, the water flow illusion is achieved using clear acrylic beads and the texture of the LED strip. The clear beads may be mixed with smaller blue beads to add a blue hue.
The Light
The LED strip is IP67 waterproof with 30 LED per meter spacing on black PCB. They can run on the same 5v power supply as the micro-controller. There are two 4″ long LED strip on the back of the water jug that is a constant green, like the LEDs in the saucer. These are standard RGB LEDs that only turn on and off with power.
The Spline
The LED are attached to 8 splines to prevent strain damage. The splines are attached to a Plexiglas insert in the sprinkler of the jug and to the pot. The top of the jug is also reinforced with spline for additional support, this prevents damage from birds landing on top of the jug.

Garden RGB Light Feature

Orbit Nozzle (Not sold in store) is used to support the watering can.
